Advice Case Study # 1 

'Skool Daze' I have to get a guitar for school.
Junior Age.

G'day, my name is Bruce. My teacher at skool said to get a guitar. I want a pointy one like the guy in Pantera, but mom says to get something nice and sensible. My teacher said to get a Yamaha. I went to Kosmic and they explained that most school lessons will involve playing nylon string guitars, and probably in a classical style.

They said to get a Yamaha C40 guitar, which sounds great and plays better than most cheap guitars.They had a special on them at $169, normally $199. I bought it and my teacher liked it. Apparently it stayed much better in tune than some of the real cheapies, which meant we could spend more time learning and less time twanging it into tune.

The Yamaha C40 has:

• A nice neck, that is not too large for little fingers. It is still large in comparison to the average acoustic or electric guitar, as is the way with classical guitars. Some budget guitars have been known to have very cumbersome necks.
• Good tuning stability.
• Nice tone for it's price.
• Made in Indonesia to Yamaha's high standards.
• Upgrade to the Yamaha CG111S and get a Taiwanese made Yamaha, with better finish, woods and tone. Rrp $399.

Conclusion:

We believe that these guitars are unbeatable value and hardly even bother stocking other similar brands. It is too easy!

Note: For very small hands we recommend the Yamaha CS40 3/4 size classic guitar. Rrp $189.
